Downtown Clermont’s ongoing evolution is taking a massive leap forward. A new 12-acre mixed-use residential and commercial district called The Lumberyard is officially underway, promising to bring a fresh surge of energy, housing, and walkability right near the city's historic core.

The sprawling project will introduce 262 modern apartment units alongside highly anticipated commercial spaces designed for local shops, dining, and offices. Rather than just adding rooftops, local leaders are using the development to pioneer a structural transformation of the downtown experience.

Clermont Roadwork Update
Road improvement projects are currently underway across several local roadways. As crews continue milling and paving, please be prepared for temporary single-lane closures, traffic delays, and flagging operations.

Celebrate Independence Day at Lake David Park

South Lake residents are gathering this Friday, June 26th, for a special community watch-party celebrating the renowned Tabernacle Choir's global broadcast. This cultural event features a high-profile streaming venue that brings neighbors together to enjoy world-class musical performances and foster regional unity.
