It highlighted the essential role the agricultural sector plays in sustaining the local economy, providing food security, and promoting environmental sustainability. The celebration serves as a tribute to those whose labor ensures a healthy future for the community and generations to come.

📜 Groveland Founder’s Day Celebration: Join the City of Groveland in celebrating 104 years of community, history, and hometown pride at the Founder’s Day Celebration! This annual event highlights Groveland’s rich heritage, its ongoing growth, and the beauty of its natural surroundings. The event will be held at Lake David Park, so come and enjoy live music by Soul2Earth and Chas Collins, plus visit local vendors and eat delicious food.

This 12.6-mile paved point-to-point trail is the crown jewel for local cyclists. It offers a challenging but scenic ride through the heart of South Lake’s rolling hills. Unlike the pancake-flat trails found elsewhere in Florida, this route features significant elevation changes.
